Introducing Our New Board Members

The Triangle ArtWorks Board of Directors is a diverse group of people dedicated to our mission of providing services, support, and resource necessary to cultivate and ensure a thriving arts community within the Triangle region of North Carolina. Board Members come from all walks of life and represent the many aspects that go into community building. We are very excited to welcome five new members who will help guide Triangle Artworks into the future:

Ashley Franklin

Ashley Franklin is an artist, entrepreneur, and educator based out of Raleigh, North Carolina. She believes that arts can connect people from around the world. Ashley leverages her influence and social media savvy to promote the arts and its positive effects in society. A recent graduate of The North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a B.A. in Visual Arts and Design, Ashley is the new full time Art Director at the Triangle Cultural Art Gallery.

Annelies M. Gentile

From Broadway to blacksmithing, from divorce to death to Dubai, Annelies M. Gentile is no stranger to change. As a compassionate creative evangelist — Annelies empowers people, fosters ideas, and changes lives as a leadership coach, facilitator, and process artist. Helping leaders, entrepreneurs, and executives navigate change, her clients include IBM, GSK, SAS, City of Raleigh, Fidelity Bank, Campbell Law, UNC-Healthcare, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, NC Bar Association and more. She also served on the board for the Art Therapy Institute and the Center for Human Earth Restoration. Annelies’s education includes a master’s degree in coaching (MUIH), graduate studies in creativity, social change, conflict transformation and peacebuilding (EGS in Switzerland), transformative leadership (Tai Sophia Institute). She is also certified (PCC) through ICF.

Crash Gregg

Crash’s professional marketing career spans over 25 years and includes various roles within the corporate, entrepreneurial, and nonprofit sectors. His experience has always focused on results garnered through a combination of multi-faceted research, innovative ideas, strategic partnerships, teamwork, statistical analysis, and good old-fashioned hard work. Crash has a passion for assisting local non-profits and has helped raise funds for various local charities through board participation as well as through donated ad space in his magazine, social media engagement, and personal invitations to colleagues and friends. A few of the organizations he has helped throughout the years include the Walk for Hope, Wake County Women’s Center, State Capitol Foundation, Dereck Whittenburg Foundation, Activate Good, and many others. 

Veronique Moses

Veronique Moses is a software consultant practice leader and has spent her career launching and cultivating emerging technologies to market. A champion for diversity in engineering, she's served as recruiter, mentor and volunteer to K-University students including her alum, NC State University; where she achieved her MS in Computer Science. She received her BS in Computer Science from Winthrop University. S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math)– this perfect creative blend underscores her passions and need to create and innovate. Veronique is also a visual artist with a focus in documentary photography and creative writing where she aims to use her work for advocacy and change. She can be found in her free time supporting the Triangle arts community, indulging in all things interior design, drinking good coffee and working up a sweat­–in no particular order.

Grace Li Wang

Grace Li Wang is an artist renowned for her work of the radiance of nature in exuberant expressionist genre. Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Grace graduated from the School of Design at the NCSU in 1974. She participates in numerous international, national, and regional design conferences as seminar panelist and jurist. After many years of working in the Art and Design Director capacity for several major multi-national corporations, Grace became the gallery director for The Grace Li Wang Art Gallery in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is the recipient of numerous international art and design awards, including the Designers Choice Awards from the International Design Publications, the Distinguished Awards from the International Society for Technical Communications, and others. Grace continues with painting, art licensing, arts advocacy, and exhibits regionally and internationally.
