Triangle Emerging Arts Leadership (TEAL) is a group of emerging arts administrators aiming to build the next generation of arts leaders. Through targeted learning, social gatherings and other events, TEAL supports art administrators as they navigate this exciting and evolving field with opportunities to learn and network with peers in the Triangle arts community.
What is an Emerging Arts Leader?
Generally our group defines emerging arts leaders as “art administration professionals with less than 10 years of experience in the field, including current students, and professionals who may be coming into the field as a subsequent career.” TEAL is very open and welcomes all who want to connect with other art administrators and experience all that the Triangle art community has to offer.
When does TEAL meet?
TEAL gatherings usually happen on a bi-monthly basis and range from meet-ups at arts events, networking opportunities and information sessions. Events are aimed at giving emerging art leaders the chance to network, learn from peers, and explore the Triangle arts community.
