SMASH! Sponsors get free tickets, as well as name recognition and lots of other fancy things. And they not only help us put on SMASH!, but support our important work year round!
What is SMASH! anyway?
Once upon a time, the Triangle's artists rarely had an event to celebrate their work. While the area was a whirl of gallery openings, live performances and open mic nights, the artists didn't have a chance to gather, to connect, to network. Our brave art superheroes Networking Girl, Media Man and Terrific TEAL came together to create an annual event where artists could celebrate, network and dream of the future. It is the Triangle's Art Party Of The Year. If you are an artist or work in the arts, you’re invited!
QUICK•CONNECT
Quick•Connect – it’s like “speed consulting” for artists! It’s the place at SMASH! where you can meet with local experts in fields like finance, marketing, publishing, law, and more. Ask questions and have their undivided attention! You’ll register for your Q•C session at SMASH!
NETWORKING
Meet with your peers or introduce yourself to other artists in a fun and welcoming environment. Bring your business cards, stickers, and QR codes, and get ready to connect.
DISCIPLINE TABLES
Throughout the event, look for discipline tables where you can meet others in your industry (visual arts, performance arts, arts administrators, and more!) to exchange information about opportunities and challenges relevant to all artists and arts organizations. If you have something you would like to see - let us know when you purchase your ticket!

HAVE/NEED EXCHANGE
Do you have creative services or resources that the community needs? Are you looking for staff or a certain set of skills? Have a call for artists, or other opportunities to share? Have an event coming up or looking for help on a project? Come prepared by making your flyer for the Have/Need Exchange ahead of time (or make one during the event).
