307 Knox Records – Durham-based.
Paradise of Bachelors is a Record Label, Recording Company, Soundsystem, and Archive located in the North Carolina Piedmont (Carrboro) and in the subluminal aether. We are dedicated to documenting, curating, and releasing under-recognized musics of the American vernacular, historical and contemporary alike, with an emphasis on the South—broadly defined—and its global sound diaspora. Drawing from our background as folklorists and collectors, with all our projects we endeavor to commit ourselves to in-depth, detailed contextual research and the presentation thereof, to careful and compelling curation and design, and to respectful and mutually beneficial collaborations with artists and other partners.

In 2014 Merge Records is celebrating its 25th birthday, and while our roster has changed, rotated, permutated and expanded over the last 25 years, the quality we look for in records as fans is still there in the music we put out on Merge.”
Potluck Foundation – PotLuck is a cooperative of musicians and artists motivated by the act of creating interesting works. Some may call us a “boutique” label, but we like to think of our collective as an umbrella gathering recorded sound compositions many times included with unique, tangible artifacts.
