Updates To Our Registration Process
If you register for one of our events or workshops, you might notice that we are asking more questions than we have in the past. This is due to our commitment to developing the most effective and responsive programming possible. Triangle ArtWorks serves a large and diverse community of creatives within many artistic disciplines in the region and our ability to understand you better will in-turn make our programs more useful for those who attend them. As part of this effort, we are now including demographic questions as part of our registration process for all of our events. These questions are optional, but provide us better insight on who is attending and help identify gaps in accessibility to our programs.
We also understand that these questions can be sensitive for some to answer. We take privacy and the confidentiality of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) seriously and will never release individual PII to anyone. The aggregate data collected in our registration forms will be used to inform our approach to develop more equitable programs and will also be used to report out to our grantor organizations. We will never sell any of the information we collect on participants in our programs.
At the core of how Triangle ArtWorks operates is the notion that effective support of the arts sector relies on candid and open feedback from the communities we serve. As always, if you have any questions or concerns about our new data collection policies please send us a message and we will respond as soon as possible.
