Triangle Performing Groups and Venues Create Coalition towards Transparency on Covid Safety Measures
If you are an arts patron that wants to start seeing live shows again, but are concerned about Covid safety, you are in luck. A growing group of Triangle performing arts groups and venues have formed the Triangle Arts Coalition for Health and Safety to make it easier for arts fans to find performances meeting certain Covid guidelines. Similar to other coalitions across the country, in areas such as Chicago and Portland, the goal of this collective effort is to unite as an arts community during this tough time to provide clarity and consistency for patrons.
Triangle ArtWorks is hosting the Triangle Arts Coalition for Health and Safety page, containing the list of participating organizations and the standards agreed upon. To be included on the Coalition page, you must be an arts venue or provide arts programming and be committed to the following health and safety requirements:
Vaccination and/or a negative COVID-19 test will be required for all attendees/visitors:
Attendees and visitors will be asked to present proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before attending.
For those not vaccinated, organizations will also accept the results of a negative COVID-19 test.
Masks will be required to be worn at all times.
Increased cleaning procedures before and after all performances, events, and activities.
Staff, volunteers, and artists will be held to the same requirements.
If you would like to be listed on the Coalition page, please submit this simple form. You can add or remove your name at any time. Specifics around how each of these requirements are implemented are up to each organization to determine and communicate.
