  • Outpatient Community- Based Mental Health Therapist. The Art Therapy Institute (ATI) has openings for Outpatient Mental Health Therapists. This is a contracted position for therapy services in local area schools (multiple sites). Most of the work will take place in-person within the CHCCS system and via tele-health as needed. Therapists are expected to perform all essential job functions in addition to other work-related duties ATI may add from time to time. Application open until filled

  • Estimator- Kalisher. The Estimator works to price artwork. Key responsibilities include, Cost Estimating, Spec Integrity Timely completion of Deliverables and Data Accuracy. Kalisher was founded in 1999 to make great art affordable for everyone, and we have grown to be one of the world's leading art consulting firms. Our broad capabilities include art creation through an in-house studio, art curation through an external network of 4,500 artists, and in-house manufacturing in North Carolina and Atlanta. Kalisher's art is sold into commercial spaces across diverse industries including hospitality, multifamily, and senior living, with marquee-brand clients such as Hilton, Hyatt, and Marriott.   • Dance Instructor- Empower Dance Studio. Empower Dance Studio is growing and we are looking for qualified instructors to add to our team! Ideally, our perfect candidate has a deep love, appreciation, and knowledge about dance and desire to teach children. We are looking for Part Time Dance Instructors for both recreational, competitive, and academy students with knowledge in one or more of the following styles of dance: creative movement, hip hop, tap, ballet, acro, jazz, or lyrical.   • Instrument Sales Specialists-Sound Pure. We are looking for sales people who are passionate about fine music and recording equipment and looking for that rare opportunity to build a rewarding career working in music gear sales. Our team views coming to work as a privilege, not a task. For sales positions, you will be able to experience, first-hand, the best equipment being built today.   • Grants and Finance Director- Uniondocs. UnionDocs seeks an organized, efficient and detail-oriented administrator to support our grant application calendar, maintain basic online bookkeeping records, tracking invoices, online sales, bills, expenses and bank reconciliations reports, aid with budgeting, and the creation of other financial documents, and oversee transactions in the fiscal sponsorship accounts of about about 50 documentary film projects, communicating directly with filmmakers and producers.   • Front House Manager- Triangle Brass Bands. The Front of House Manager is responsible for overseeing general operations of Triangle Brass Band concerts before, during, and after events. Leading a staff of volunteer ushers, the Front of House Manager coordinates ticketing and seating efforts, manages all external doors, oversees general patron satisfaction, and ensures that events remain on schedule.

  • Elementary School Teaching- Chatam County Schools. Under the general supervision of the School Principal, to develop students' understanding, appreciation of the art of music, including listening to a wide range of musical genre, periods and styles.   • Baseball Music Operator- Durham Bulls. The Durham Bulls are seeking an experienced Music Operator to run music and audio for all home games, including holidays, nights and weekends.  As a Music Operator, you will select and play music at all Durham Bulls home games as well as control audio levels for PA announcements, in-stadium videos and other sound components throughout the ballpark. This position is seasonal. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

  • Baseball On-Field Announcer/ Entertainer- Durham Bulls. This is a seasonal position.  Person needed to announce sponsored promotions during all Durham Bulls home games. Individual must have a good speaking voice and must be able to work all 70+ home games.  Acting or public speaking experience is preferred; must be able to work holidays, evenings, and weekends as required.   • Non-Tenure Track Art and Design Faculty- NC State University. The Department of Art + Design is accepting applications for part-time non-tenure-track faculty appointments for a one-semester or one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal. Rank to be determined based upon education and professional experience. Specific teaching opportunities include art studios at all levels, including advanced comprehensive studios and/or special topic seminar courses. This position is open until filled.

  • Part Time Positions Available- Carolina Theatre. The Carolina Theatre of Durham is currently seeking Part-Time Stagehands in all disciplines including Loaders, Spot-ops, Video-ops, Audio-ops & engineers, Lighting ops, riggers, and fly-ops, as well as, part time Concessions Clerks.   • Shop Technician- NC State University Theatre. NC State’s University Theatre is currently looking for a Shop Technician that will assist the Costume Shop, Scene Shop, or Electrics Shop Manager with the execution of designs in the respective shops on an as-needed basis. Costume Shop Duties include: sewing (by machine and by hand), alterations, repairs, ironing, laundry, fittings, costume crafts, and other assignments based upon skill set and shop needs. Scene Shop Duties include: safe use of power and hand tools, basic carpentry and construction, painting, re-furbishing and refinishing of furniture and set pieces, upholstery, and other assignments based upon skill set and shop needs. Electrics Shop duties include: hanging, focusing, or striking of lighting fixtures, installation of temporary show related lighting, sound or special effects, repair or maintenance of lighting, sound and/or projection equipment, and other assignments based upon skill set and shop needs.   • Preschool Teacher- Arts Together.Arts Together’s Multi-Arts Preschool is the only area program to use an arts-integrated curriculum developed to meet Head Start outcomes and N.C. Department of Education standards for kindergarten readiness. Through small classes with low student-to-teacher ratios, children gain confidence in their unique abilities and explore their own creativity and developing sense of self-expression. Our arts-based curriculum builds a strong foundation for learning by using art, drama, music and dance/movement alongside other interactive, educational activities such as science, math, cooking, literacy and language.   • Several Art Positions- Squanch Games. Art Manager, animator and environmental artist. What a time to be alive. Our studio is pretty animation and stylistic art-forward. This means that you’ll be in good company with folks who want to make amazing looking translations of 2D stylized art into awesome and integrated 3D experiences in VR. Our goal is to be all about the personality of our characters within fantastical worlds. This is a remote opportunity, applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

  • Music Teacher- Bach 2 Rock. Bach To Rock (“B2R”) America’s Music School for students of all ages is currently seeking a Music Teacher to work as a part-time employee providing music and performance lessons to students. Music Teachers at Bach to Rock use B2R curriculum to provide students of all ages an inspiring and well-balanced music education.  By teaching theory and technique using music that students know and love, B2R teachers develop musicians who enjoy performing, recording in our studio, and even composing original music!   • Violin Teacher- Azure Violins. Our Teachers are working passionately each day leading our students in group, buddy, and private lessons. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about our students’ experience and is an advocate for the Azure Violins community. Applications are still being accepted.

  • Activity Instructors- Calyx Living. We're looking for enthusiastic and creative instructors to engage residents and provide them with fun and collaborative activities. If you're passionate about improving the lives of seniors and are skilled in teaching dance classes like Cardio Dance, Zumba Gold, Line Dancing or Ballroom.   • Art Restoration Specialist- Prism Specialties. Since 1993 Prism Specialties has been making its mark recovering and restoring electronics specializing in both residential and commercial markets.   • Call for Vendors- Solstice Market. Solstice Market will take place Solstice evening, Wednesday, December 21, 2022, 4:30-7:30 PM, under Hillsborough's Farmers Market Pavilion. The market will represent both before and after lantern walk celebrations, with the heaviest foot traffic occurring before the walk, 4:30-sundown (5:45 PM), and after the walk, 6:30-7:30 PM.   • Call for Vendors- Holiday Arts Festival. On Saturday, December 3, the Ackland Art Museum and Downtown Chapel Hill Partnership (DCHP) will host a Holiday Arts Market celebrating the shopping season with local crafts and caroling. The event will take place at Ackland (101 S. Columbia St.) and last from 11am-4pm. Applications accepted by November 18

  • Call for Vendors- First Night Raleigh Celebration. If you are interested in participating in this year’s event, please complete the application form and submit a photo of your setup. Applications due by November 11th

  • Call for Vendors- Downtown Chapel Hill. Accepting applications from art, artisan, craft and food vendors for ongoing art markets in two locations in downtown Chapel Hill. Markets are scheduled at The Ackland Art Museum on Dec 3 and at The Courtyard on Nov 30; there will be future markets at both locations. Vendors can apply for the Nov / Dec markets as well as for upcoming markets using the application form. Applications accepted on a rolling basis.

  • Artist Call- SEEK Raleigh. This is an ongoing series of site-specific art installations and performance art events that engages the community through public art in City of Raleigh Parks, greenways and/or community spaces. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

  • Grants- Town of Cary. Funds are given to Cary-based non-profits with a 501(c)(3) federal tax identification number. For more information visit, townofcary.org.

  • Call for Artisit- Raleigh Little Theatre. Seeking teaching artists for education programs. Teaching opportunities include drama and theatre instruction in school year classes for youth and adults, spring and summer camps for pre-k through middle school, school residencies, and community partnerships. Submit materials by November 21, 2022 for consideration for summer camp 2023.

  • Call for Artist- The Town of Chapel Hill. We’re looking for two Triangle-based artists (or teams) to create an original 2-D design to adorn the ceilings of three Chapel Hill Transit buses, as part of the Art + Transit project. Up to four artists will be selected to submit concept proposals and will be paid $100 for this work. The deadline for this call is Monday, November 7th at 5:00pm.

  • Call for Vendors- Gizmo BrewWorks in Raleigh. Are you an arts and craft vendor in the Triangle area? Gizmo BrewWorks is hosting a handmade market on Small Business Saturday on November 26th from 12-4pm. There is no vendor fee! Selected vendors will be notified by November 12th.

  • Artist Call- Durham Arts Guild. The Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), of which the Museum is a member, is boldly campaigning to protect 30% of Earth’s land, waters, and oceans by 2030. Art has been a source of information, education, and inspiration from the beginning, and we invite you to help us harness that power to turn this vision into a reality. The Museum will present 30x30: Art, Nature, and Science, a juried show of works celebrating nature’s awe and inspiring its conservation. The exhibit will be displayed at the Museum of Life and Science, 433 W Murray Ave, Durham, NC, from January 13, 2023, to April 29, 2023. Deadline to apply is November 11th, 2022.

  • Call for Artist- Research Triangle Park and Frontier RTP. The Research Triangle foundation of North Carolina is requesting qualifications for the design and installation of 4 roadway murals on the RTP campus. Deadline for applications is November 7th, 2022.

  • Call for Vendors- Are you looking for a physical space to sell you products or crafts? The Triangle Pop Up wants to partner with you to provide shelf space for our holiday market. The store is located at 15 W Hargett Street in Downtown Raleigh (next to Raleigh Raw) For more information or to complete the application please see the attached link.   • HBCU Artist in Residence- ArtSpace. Built from the successful model established through the Artspace North Carolina Emerging Artist in Residence program, now in its 22nd year, this year-long residency focuses on recent graduates from historically Black colleges and universities (HBCU) in North Carolina. Upon graduation students often lose resources, equipment, colleagues, and mentors. This HBCU Alumni Residency seeks to remedy those issues by extending the learning process and broadening the experience for recent graduates to build their career as a visual artist. There are more 4-year HBCUs in North Carolina than anywhere else in the country, and the Artspace HBCU Alumni Residency aims to highlight and support the many talented artists graduating from these culturally rich institutions.   • Request for Qualifications- Public Art at Various Durham County Buildings. The County of Durham, North Carolina, invites artists or artist teams to submit Qualifications for the design and installation of public artwork in, on, or around several Durham County Buildings.  This is a rolling call for multiple projects at various locations, and multiple artists and artist teams will be commissioned. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. 

  • Residencies- Elsewhere Museum. Annually, 35 residents are selected to collectively live and work within Elsewhere to create projects that activate the Living Museum. Work produced is site-specific and responsive, exploring Elsewhere’s environment, material inventories, cultural histories, social systems, neighborhood communities, and past projects. All objects and artworks remain part of the museum, available for continued transformation by future creatives. Employment positions are regularly available as well. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

  • Studio Available- Eno Arts Mill. The Art Mill Studios are located in a 2,970 square foot space within Hillsborough’s historic Eno Mill. The mill is located in West Hillsborough, within walking distance to neighborhood restaurants and shops. It currently features eleven private studios. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

  • Studio Available- Outer Loop Arts. Our space can accommodate 5 artists or makers. Located in an industrial space in the golden belt area of Durham.
