About The Panelists
La-Tasha Best-Gaddy, the Chief Strategist of Infinity Bridges Inc., boasts an extensive 25-year career spanning Accounting, Insurance, Financial Services, and Non-Profit Industry sectors. LaTasha is a dynamic thought leader and entrepreneur, and an alumna of North Carolina Central University with graduate and undergraduate degrees, and she holds a certificate from The College of Insurance in New York. She's a graduate of the NC Rural Economic Development Institute, Leadership North Carolina, and Leadership Triangle. Actively engaged in the community, she holds pivotal roles, serving as Chairman of the Black Business Alliance for Chapel Hill-Carrboro, Facilitator of the Durham Small Business Resource Collaborative. La-Tasha is also a Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce Board Member, Treasurer & Co-Founder of the NC Employee Ownership Center, and Treasurer of Rebuild Durham. Learn more about La-Tasha here.
Ryan Fairchild, is an attorney at Odin Law & Media. Ryan’s diverse practice includes an emphasis on esports and gaming entertainment. His passion for video games derives from being a lifelong gamer, and he understands the various cultures and dynamics, as well as legal, economic and structural issues facing the entertainment side of that industry. He represents players, content creators, and stakeholders in a variety of contract and intellectual property issues, among others. Ryan has authored numerous articles on the esports climate and is a frequent speaker at industry events on the legal issues affecting the esports and gaming entertainment communities. Beth Yerxa, Executive Director of Triangle Artworks, has been involved in the arts community in the Triangle since 2001, when she was asked to serve on the Raleigh City Council’s Task Force created to write the initial Raleigh Public Art Policy and then appointed served on the Raleigh Arts Commission from 2003 to 2009, including three years as Chair. Beth practiced environmental regulatory law and litigation for 13 years, most recently as a partner at Smith Helms Mullis and Moore in Raleigh. She currently serves on the Board of Arts North Carolina.
