Join us for a discussion to learn about cybersecurity and what you should know as an artist or arts administrator about cybersecurity concerns.

Many artists and arts organizations could benefit from learning more about cybersecurity.  Most don’t think about it until they experience a breach.  Do you share information and images via emails?  How about any client data?  Do you know if your email is vulnerable?  Do you regularly change your passwords?  Now is the time to learn about things that can put you or your organization at risk and some practical ways to protect yourself, your work and your business. 

Torrence Reed of Cybershield Security will join us to present the importance of cybersecurity measures and what actions you can take right now to protect your data. Bring your questions and learn how you can be better prepared to navigate Hosted by podcasters Jackie Sanders and Adriana Ameigh, of the podcast Art Studio Insights, this event will be taped for a later episode.

Torrence Reed, is a solutions architect, consultant, and cybersecurity professional who has guided many clients on methods to protect their data and privacy, mitigate risks and prevent cyber threats.  He has over 20 years experience working with startups, small businesses, governments and nonprofits in IT security auditing, infrastructure deployment, threat detection to identify and secure vulnerabilities, and prevention of cyber threats using monitoring and security engineering measures.  Learn more about Torrence here.
