Vicky L. Rees

Vicki Rees made art from a young age until after college. As she pursued her career in Human Resources, she moved from Indiana to Illinois, to Kentucky, and ultimately to North Carolina. What she didn’t do for 35 years was pick up a paintbrush.

Several years before retirement Vicki felt the urge to create something other than a PowerPoint presentation and began anew her art education. In time, she began to exhibit her oil paintings in juried art shows and local venues, retired from the corporate world, and joined Tipping Paint Gallery. Today her base of operations is her home studio in Raleigh’s Historic Oakwood. vlrees.com
