National Learning Database Launches at Artists Thrive Summit

artist talk at American Underground, Durham NC

We are proud to announce that during the 2022 Artists Thrive Summit in July the Artists Professional Development National Learning Database was launched. This new platform will enable artists, arts administrators, educators, and others to access available professional development opportunities in an easily searchable format from anywhere in the country. This will serve as a national repository for all of the learning resources available for those working in the arts sector.

Work on the database began in 2021 with initial meetings and discussions with Artists Thrive!. Triangle ArtWorks General Manager Corey Blaustein developed the format, and with intern Ethan Sichel reached out to organizations around the country to add listings.

The database was initially launched during the annual Summit to reduce entry replication, encourage the creation of new content to fill gaps, and remove any barriers to access. We are proud to have worked with Artists Thrive to create this new database of professional development content and can’t wait to see how you will use it in your work.

If your organization would like to let others know about the resources it offers, you can add your content to the database below.
